Spanish Glamour/ Marc Philbert

Such a shame. You can't really tell that I was sitting around in sopping wet clothes in a large cold studio at the end of December...

I remember that day like it was...yesterday. It was the day before I left Paris. I left my apartment in a tizzy wizzy. I was up late the night before trying to get everything packed and situated. While that was happening I blew a fuse. Being home-retarded, I didn't know where the box was or how to restart it. I kept looking out the windows and going into the hallway super confused because everyone else's lights were on!

I woke up the next morning to my dishwasher leaking a shit ton of water. Being half asleep and potentially late for my job, I simply laid towels on top of it and walked out. I walked out without my address to my job.... I had the directions memorize but I didn't know the number of the building. So I just walked around peeked into everything I could until I found it, ON TIME!

I got to the studio and I got a call from a number I didn't recognize. It was my driver picking me up to go to the airport...! (>.<) I had to explain to him I wasn't leaving until tomorrow morning. He was very confused. I was concerned that I was going to have to pay for two cars due to someone's stupid mistake.

I was really looking forward to this job because the photographer is all kinds of great and it was a bathing suit/t shirt story. Because I never shoot with actual head to toe clothes on anymore. We did the first shot. Dry.

Then the stylist wanted to do it wet. So she wet all of my clothes and I put them back on and shivered to death. 2nd shot. Dry. Then Wet. This took HOURS. We went to lunch. Being the sass-a-frass that I am, I asked if we were going to do every shot twice, because I ain't got all night, I had to go back to NYC the next morning.

So from then on we did everything wet. And the hair and make up peeps kept spraying me with water to keep me WET. All Im saying is that in these pictures, I dont look very wet....

And that's a shame!!!!

You look....dewy. Good dewy, not icky dewy.

You're like nymph goddess that emerged though a little spray of rain.

It's really cool!

it is funny to hear behind the scenes story, it looks so glamourous when you see the image, you dont think these things go on at the photoshoots!
