god...this is probably going to sound ridiculous but whatever. i remember seeing you for the first time in an urban outfitters catalog and i remember thinking "jesus christ, that girl is breathtaking" and ive since kept that silly little catalog just because i thought you were the prettiest girl ive ever seen, and i didnt really know if you were a model, or just someone they chose for the shoot, but ive been hoping to stumble upon you somehow ever since ive seen it. stupid enough, haha...i got into a huge fight with my boyfriend tonight and i was packing all my shit into a bag and i grabbed my sketchbook and a few things that were lying on the floor, and that catalog stumbled out under a mess of other magazines and for some reason i grabbed it. i didnt take anything else really, except for a few things i needed, and that catalog. i flipped through it when i got to my house and i just kept thinking this girl is amazingly beautiful..and it literally put a smile on my face, i dont even know why but your face made me smile for some unknown reason and i felt better. anyway, tonight randomly while listening to sad songs on repeat and surfing the internet for some strand of sanity, i stumbled upon a photoshoot with you in it and i was like "no fucking way" and it linked to your blog and it all just seemed really weird and coincidental that i thought i should tell you. anyway, thanks for in some way...subconciously making me feel better.

Brittany! Thats such an interesting story. When I'm working I hope that people will like my photos, but I never assume that my job could make someone else feel better in shitty situations. =)

haha i couldnt even tell you why it so suddenly made me feel better. i guess that's one of the perks about being involved in modeling and photos and art of that kind, is that it reaches people on a lot of different levels. i'm a fine arts major and sometimes just seeing that perfect or fitting face can evoke good feelings. it kinda just brings me back to what i look for in drawing or painting and keeping my inspiration in some perpetual mode. anyway, i love your photos and hope to continue to see you flourish, you seem to have such a natural feel for what you do. :)
